FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

28-YEAR-OLD TORONTO MUSICIAN TIMOTHY ABBEY TO RELEASE DEBUT EP, “MORE THAN A CONQUEROR, THE AWAKENING,” IN SEPTEMBER 2023

TORONTO, Ont. (June 26, 2021) – Timothy Abbey, also known as Lyrical Disciple,  announced the coming launch of his debut EP, as he is commissioned to create  uplifting music to win souls for the Lord and to inspire and edify others. He brings deep  spiritual revelation, musical inspiration, and a fresh voice to Christian Hip Hop.

Purposed to bring hope to the hopeless and to shine light in a dark and grim world, his  debut EP, “More Than a Conqueror, The Awakening,” holds the capacity to bring  listeners into an enduring transformative awakening.

After a supernatural encounter with God in a moment when his life seemed  unamendable, his spiritual eyes were opened. He found the hope he needed to use his  pain for a purpose greater than himself. He began to understand that the deep despair  he felt—caused by depression, rejection, and poverty—was a part of a story that would  ultimately bring glory to God. Abbey’s awakening empowers him to live as an overcomer  of adverse life circumstances.

His mission now is to share his wisdom and spiritual insight through his music to  empower others to rise above adverse life circumstances and see themselves as more  than conquerors through Christ.

The upcoming EP, “More Than a Conqueror, The Awakening,” is a compilation of five songs: “Let’s Go”, “Righteous Rhymez”, “Revival of Hope”, “Level Up”, and “Awakened”. All five songs combine original lyrics, catchy hip hop instrumentals, extraordinary lyrical prose,  and vibrant and anointed rhythms that will pierce the heart while bringing musical  pleasure to the listener.

Abbey believes that whether one is battling with suicidal thoughts, mental illness, or  anxiety stemming from poor economic conditions, broken families, a global pandemic,  pressures of pop-culture or social media, there is lasting hope in Christ. He hopes to  convey this through his music.

In addition to Abbey’s debut EP this September, he will be releasing three singles — “The Come Up,” “Blood of Christ,” featuring S.O.S. from New Jersey, and “Holy Riders”— to give a taste of the musical genius to come.
